C.W. Downer & Co. Welcomes Gregor Korte and Jonathan Roth to International Team
C.W. Downer & Co., a leading global middle-market investment bank, is pleased to announce two recent senior additions to the firm’s international team. Gregor Korte has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s Frankfurt office while Jonathan Roth has joined as a Director in the US-based technology team.
Gregor Korte comes to C.W. Downer & Co. with over 15 years of M&A experience. He was most recently Head of M&A Germany at NIBC Bank N.V. in Frankfurt. Prior to NIBC Bank, he held executive positions at Deutsche Bank, UBS Investment Bank, and Arthur Andersen. He has advised both corporate and private equity clients as well as entrepreneurs on corporate divestitures, acquisitions and buy-outs in a variety of sectors including consumer goods, industrials, clean tech, and healthcare. Mr. Korte graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Münster (Germany).
Jonathan Roth has more than 20 years of operations and investment banking experience with specific expertise in digital media, internet and technology M&A. He is the newest member of C.W. Downer & Co.’s Technology Media and Interactive Services (TMIS) team. He has executed sell-side, buy-side and private placement engagements and held C-level, Co-Founder roles at two venture-backed Internet companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Roth held senior positions at Digital Capital Advisors, Siemer and Associates, Cascadia Capital and DeSilva and Phillips. He has an undergraduate degree and MBA from Columbia University.
