The Descours & Cabaud Group has strengthened its position as the leading player in B2B distribution in France and Europe thanks to three international acquisitions, made in rapid succession.
It has acquired Rala in Germany (annual turnover of 65 million euros), Steyr-Werner in Austria (44 million euros) and Nomag in the Netherlands (6 million euros).
These three acquisitions will reinforce the European position of Dexis, the Descours & Cabaud group’s industrial supplies centre, with an additional turnover of over 100 million euros.
– The German company Rala is located in Ludwigshafen, near Frankfurt. The company distributes maintenance products, components and Personal Protection Equipment via two points of sale.
– Steyr-Werner is located near Vienna. The company specialises in the distribution of industrial supplies, in particular maintenance products and Personal Protection Equipment. It has 8 points of sale. With this acquisition, Descours & Cabaud is entering a country whose industrial performances are amongst the strongest in Europe.
– Nomag is located near Amsterdam and has two points of sale. The company specialises in tools for industry and mechanical transmission.
