ADS, Inc., a leading provider of value-added logistics and supply chain solutions, has closed the acquisition of Theodor Wille Intertrade (TWI). The agreement to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of TWI was signed in September 2015.
Both companies will benefit from the transactions. TWI will continue to operate its business as a division of ADS. For ADS the acquisition entails complementing their own portfolio of contract vehicles and immediately diversifying its business. In their own official statement from November 2015, Karan Rai, President and CFO of ADS states: “Now that the acquisition is officially finalized, the entire team is eager to commence with the plans to integrate these two highly complementary businesses.”
IEG – Investment Banking Group acted in cooperation with its American partner office Rossoff & Co as exclusive financial advisor to the selling shareholders of TWI.
